Special Speaker Event

Join your sewing friends to catch up, share refreshments, win doorprizes, and hear from two of our own chapter members.

• Karen Moody - Karen loves to sew "softies". Stuffed animals, plushies, or soft toys are just a few names for these fun to make items. She makes them large and small, from faux fur to wool felt. She loves seeing the individual personalities that each one develops.  Karen will share information that she has learned over the years sewing these cuties, and pass along helpful hints.
• Giselle Rucker – Giselle will be presenting, “Upcycling! How did you do that?”. She will have a mini trunk show featuring items that have been “upcycled”. Giselle will also demonstrate how to renew old or outdated items by updating the look so that it’s new to you.
